Michael Tucker recently completed his studies with a postgraduate certificate in Strategic Relationship Marketing at George Brown College. In 2015 he created the George Brown Marketing blog and was named a finalist for CAMP’s Student Marketer of the Year. He also won the national grand prize for Ryerson University’s Sports Hackathon.
Michael has a background in digital, content, and database marketing. He has a track record helping business-to-business and tech startups find and engage new customers. Currently he is working with GBC Tech Training as a Marketing Assistant contractor specializing in email campaigns.
As an undergrad student in the Business Admin – Marketing program at George Brown College, Laura has gained her experience through the co-op program working for a production company in a role focused on direct marketing and sponsorships. Laura uses her applied skills within the classroom to lead projects with real-world start-ups looking for solutions to their unique business problems. Laura is passionate about the arts and has worked with artists and galleries as a Marketing Advisor off-campus. She is always eager to embrace an unexplored experience or opportunity to meet someone new.
A passionate philosopher and a traveler, Pumori wants to learn more about marketing and research. Currently enrolled in Strategic Relationship Marketing, Pumori has an experience in travel and tourism and research. Currently she is a part of a variety of roles and responsibilities and is looking forward to contribute lots to our GBC Blog team.
Anastasia is currently enrolled in Strategic Relationship Marketing at George Brown College. She earned valuable experience through the co-op program working for a Toronto promotional agency in a role focused on digital marketing and sales. She is highly-skilled and savvy with photography and Adobe Creative Suite. Anastasia is using these skills to help build an audience for the GBC Marketing Students Blog using Email Marketing and SEO tactics.
With 6 years experience in Sales and Marketing in her home country, Nicky wants to experience and challenge herself by working in a marketing role in a Canadian business. Nicky is currently enrolling the last semester in Strategic Relationship Marketing at George Brown College. Nicky contributes her skills in SEO (Search Engine Optimization) and digital analytics to help drive more traffic to the site.
He believes that his MBA and post graduate degree combined with his engineering skills will provide him a successful career in product marketing management.
